This program begins with a use of force demonstration and transitions directly into instruction in Alternative Force Delivery Techniques. Topics include the myths of martial arts, Balance \/ Force equation and methods of officer defense and survival. Training culminates with Scenario Work against aggressive unarmed suspects and sudden death weapon encounters.<\/p>\n

Techniques are designed to give the Law Enforcement Officer real weapons defense skills, teaching them to gain control of a weapon with the use of non-lethal force.<\/p>\n
Specific defenses for a blade weapons, a clubbing weapons, a flexible weapons, as well as firearms will be applied. The focus is to teach the officer to stay alive first, before attempting to bring their firearm to bare if necessary. Training culminates with Scenario Work against an aggressive armed suspect and sudden death weapon encounters.<\/p>\n
