Stefan Shively began training with Reality Defense Training under Troy Coe in 2011.\u00a0 Stefan being a semiprofessional Hockey Player at 21 years of age was forced to retire early after being diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy.\u00a0 Unable to find challenge and passion in multiple desk jobs, Stefan took to Reality Defense Training and quickly excelled in all areas.\u00a0 Discovering a passion for helping less advanced students he realized his calling accepted as an assistant Instructor under Mr. Coe in early 2017.\u00a0 Stefan also volunteered to be an aggressor\/REDMAN for specialty courses.\u00a0 This requires a level of commitment and toughness that most men are not willing to put forth to help students improve.\u00a0 This requires a special “Selfless” mindset that is hard to find today, you must not allow your ego to drive your purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stefan also developed an interest in the Tactical use of firearms in early 2014, this quickly lead to training with a carbine platform as well.\u00a0 Stefan has regularly assisted Mr. Coe as an RSO\/Assistant Instructor since 2016 during firearms programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n
