In schools across the country a “Zero Tolerance” policy is enforced at every level against violence.  Apparently, however “Bullies” do not care whether they get caught nor do they worry about the consequences.  The message that “Zero Tolerance” send our children is one of confusion and frustration.  This policy promotes a victim mentality which will be detrimental to the remainder of their education as well into adult life.

This program has been specifically developed to teach young people how to defend themselves when bullied.  Whether it be through defusing a situation verbally or physically.  Participants in this course will learn how to physically deal with bullies using direct and concise techniques designed to end a situation quickly.  Bullies do what they do because they get away with bullying.   It is rarely spoken about to parents due to embarrassment and shame.

This program involves the parents in the training.  This will develop three major elements for both the parent and their children.

1. Bonding – Participating in this training together will create and/or strengthen a substantial bond for both.
2. Confidence – Both parent and children will have increases confidence. The student in their ability to defend themselves and the parents confidence in their children’s ability to do so.
3. Peace of Mind – Parents can have peace of mind that their children will know how and when to defend themselves, and will know that if their children do defend themselves that there was no other choice. The children will have peace of mind knowing that they did the right thing and although they may get into trouble at school they will not get into trouble at home.
